2 yr. old LOVES this toy March 5, 2010 Lizalot (Austin, TX) I wasn't sure that this toy would actually project onto the ceiling, but it does! For those who say that it doesn't project light well, it could be that they are in the city or there is just too much ambient light for some other reason. My 2 yr. old LOVES this toy. I like it because it's enough of a night light to keep her happy, but it goes off on it's own after a while. I will say that the red light doesn't show up as well as the purple and green, but it still works great. Two other toddlers we know have these (one has the turtle, one has the ladybug like us) and the parents and kiddos give them thumbs up. This is my new go-to birthday party gift for 2 yr. olds.
Awesome for kids scare of the dark!!! March 5, 2010 KW (NC) My 4 year old is afraid to sleep in her room with her nightlight, but something about these stars on her ceiling seem to comfort her. Definitely a great buy!!! : )
Daughter likes it March 4, 2010 Lauren (Japan) I have been wanting to get this for my daughter since she was born, but didn't. I saw another reviewer saying this was good for 3 year olds so went ahead and ordered it. My daughter loves it! It is pretty simple, the lights don't change on their own, and the amber one does barely show up even in a pitch black room. The blue & green are more than enough though. My daughter has a medium size bedroom and it easily filled up the whole room. Putting it in the middle of the floor does make it better, as does sitting it on something so it's a bit higher.
Would be a great add on if they adjusted it so the colors change on their own!
Works as advertised March 3, 2010 S. Reed My daughter who's almost 6 loves the ladybug. She turns it on when she's ready to sleep. It automatically shuts off after 45 minutes. It works greats-- no complaints.
Fun Nightlight March 2, 2010 monie389 (Chicago, IL) We got the Twilight Turtle and love it as a nightlight. When our son was born, he slept in our room for the first month and we used the turtle as a nightlight for us because we loved looking at the stars. And now that my 3 month old is in his room, he loves looking at the stars too. When he has a little trouble falling asleep at night, we'll turn this on and he'll just stare at the stars in amazement. He loves it.
